Rachel obtained her Bachelor of Science in Agriculture degree from Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan, China (Majored in Veterinary Medicine, a 5-years system). She joined Yuan lab to expand her knowledge and skills on reproductive medicine. She likes singing, watching movies and playing table tennis.

Mia obtained her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Medicine degree from China Three Gorges University in 2018, then she joined Yuan Lab as a master degree candidate student. She likes running、swimming and hiking.
Jack was admitted into Huazhong University of Science and Technology (HUST) in 2016, and now he is majoring in clinical medicine at Tongji Medical College of HUST. He enjoys reading and exercising.

Diana got her M.D. degree from Wenzhou Medical University in 2014, then she earned her Master of Science degree in 2017 from Tongji Medical College of HUST. Since July of 2017， she joined Dr.Yuan's lab as a Ph.D student. She likes reading, traveling and walking.

Dr.Feng received his Ph.D. degree in 2018 from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. His previous research focused on medical genetics and shed light on the molecular mechanism of human nervous system diseases. He felt that he has a strong interest in reproductive biology and male infertility after he finished his Ph.D. programs. Thus, he joined in Dr. Yuan's lab in November of 2018. His current research focuses on the roles of DNA methylation and related signaling pathways during spermatogenesis. He enjoys reading and watching movies.

Jenny received her M.D. degree from Wuhan University in 2016. Now she is a Ph.D student in gynaecology and obstetrics program at Tongji Medical college of HUST. She enjoys sunshine in beach, traveling and dancing.

Dr.Ma received his Ph.D. degree in genetics from Huazhong University of Science and Technology in 2017. His interest in reproductive biology, as well as his previous research experience in medical genetics, led him to join Dr. Yuan's lab in 2018. His research focuses on the roles of RNA modifications and related proteins in spermatogenesis and early mouse embryo development. He enjoys running and traveling.

Jin Zhang received his bachelor of science at the College of Veterinary of Medicine from Nanjing Agricultural University in 2017. He joined Yuan Lab to study on the regulation of animal reproduction as an exchanged student from Northwest A&F University. He likes running and traveling.
Xinyu Zhu is studying at Tongji Medical College of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Out of interest in scientific research, she joined Yuan lab to broaden her vision and improve her research ability. She takes pleasure in dancing and reading.

Dr.Yuan received his Ph.D. degree in 2013 from China Medical University. He was an exchanged Ph.D. candidate student in University of Nevada, Reno (UNR) from 2010 to 2013. After finished his Ph.D. training, he continued to work on reproductive biology as a post-doc in Dr.Wei Yan's lab at UNR from 2013 to 2016. Since June of 2016, he moved to China as a full professor and started his own lab in Huazhong University Science and Technology (HUST). Broadly, his research field lies in aspects of human genetics and reproductive biology with the keen focus on investigating the genetic and epigenetic architecture of human infertility and the function of non-coding RNAs in germ cells source of fertility. He likes swimming, hiking and running.
Dr.Wang received her Ph.D. degree from State Key Laboratory of Genetic Engineering at Fudan University in 2012. After her post-doc training from Key Laboratory of Combinatorial Biosynthesis and Drug Discovery at Wuhan University, since July of 2016, she joined Dr. Shuiqiao Yuan’ lab at HUST. Her research focuses are genetics and epigenetic regulations in the process of spermatogenesis, and the role of membrane contacts between different organelles in reproductive biology. She enjoys yoga, hand-making and traveling.

She joined Yuan Lab to study on Sertoli cell functions and its interactions with germ cells as an exchanged student from Hubei University of Medicine. She likes playing badminton and singing.

Wendy obtained her Bachelor of Science in Clinical Medicine degree from NanChang University in 2017. She joined Yuan Lab as in 2018 a master degree candidate student to strengthen her ability and learn more knowledge on reproductive medicine. She likes walking on the beach and blowing the sea wind!

Xinyu Zhu, (Undergraduate student)
Congcong received his Bachelor of Chinese traditional Medicine degree from Hubei University of Chinese Medicine, Wuhan, China. He joined Dr. Yuan’s lab in 2016 as a master candidate student and majored in genetics and molecular biology. He was also interested in gene knock-out models and bioinformatics analyses. His current project is using genetic mouse models & biochemical approaches to study the function of sperm small RNAs during mammalian embryo development.
